funeral program sampleThis funeral program sample is a single fold beautiful butterfly design.  This program was made from a bifold (single fold) funeral program template.  The single fold funeral program template is one of the quickest templates you can use to make a program.  This design features a beautiful pastel blue and green bokeh background, with orange zenias with butterflies perched on them.  It also has two small butterflies in the top left hand corner.

The outer page of this funeral program sample has a light blue and green background with flowers and butterfly.  This background is perfect for a non-religious funeral or memorial ceremony.  The cover has a title written in a elegant script and also has a gold funeral program clipart frame to showcase the cover photo.  This program uses Microsoft Word WordART to give the name more of a design element.  The cover also has a birth and death date.  The left side, or back panel when folded has a poem on the back as well as an acknowledgement statement.

Adding Photos to a Funeral Program

Adding pictures to a loved one’s funeral program adds life to the deceased person’s memory. However, while we all know how important Funeral Program Photosit is to use an image, it’s even more imperative to make sure that image truly represents the person who died. Keep these tips in mind when adding a photo to a memorial program:
  • Make sure the images you choose is the person who died; some family members resemble others, so it’s always best to double check.
  • Select images that compliment his or her features, preferably ones in which the person is smiling or grinning.
  • Don’t use main images that are so outdated that your loved one is unrecognizable. Baby and childhood pictures are typically added on the inside of the program.
  • Make sure the images are clear enough to enlarge and reproduce.

If you have to create a funeral program or memorial service program, it may be hard to know where to begin.  One of the easiest ways to get started is to look at programs that have already been created.  Many friends and family members keep funeral programs as keepsakes, and may have a few programs that you can look at.  You can also use the Internet to find funeral program samples.  Simply go to your favorite search engine and type “funeral programs” or “funeral program samples” .  It also helps to just search for images only.

Funeral or memorial services are always nicer when you take  time find perfect funeral poems.  If you are planning a service and need to select a funeral poem, don’t be discouraged.  There are many ways to select the perfect funeral poem for your service and for you funeral programs.

One way to choose a poem is to consider the deceased person’s favorite poems and authors.  Think about whether the person who has died had a special book of poetry, readings or quotes that he or she liked.  If so, choose a few poems from those works.  If you can’t locate a book, try and think of any poets or authors your loved one may have mentioned.

If you can’t think of poems that you loved ones may have liked, then check the Internet.  There are large libraries of poems available.  For example, if you are planning a funeral for your mother, you can search for “funeral poems for mother” to find the perfect poem.  Be sure, however, to give proper credit to the author, if necessary.

Another way to find an appropriate poem is to search the internet for poetry by keywords that reflect his or her life.  For instance, if the person who has died loved gardening, then search on the phrase “poems about gardening” or “poems for nature lovers”.  You can also search on personality traits such as “honor poems” and “kindness poems” to find that special written piece.

Once you have located your poems, incorporate it into printed funeral and memorial materials such as funeral programs, bookmarks or even thank you cards.  There are funeral program templates that make this an easy task.
